Job description
As Account Manager Truck Parts and Tyres, you will join our driven BAS Parts and Tyres team. You will be responsible for selling new and used truck parts to international customers. Calling, emailing, enquiring via the website or chat; you will take every opportunity to sell. You build, expand and maintain relationships with hauliers, workshops and garages. Once you have sold a part, you manage the process from sale to delivery. This might include following up on an order, preparing an invoice or shipping a package. To achieve this, you continuously work together with your colleagues from Stock Management, Sales Support and Transport.
What makes this role so fun and challenging is that you are given the freedom and responsibility to run your own ‘business’. You are in the lead on the whole process. For example, you keep a close eye on payment and transport. On average, a Junior Salesperson sells for around half a million in the first year. Do you reach your targets easily and want more of a challenge? Then your goal will be to sell towards 1.5 to 2 million euros. To achieve these figures, you will get all the guidance and support you need. In this role, you can make an immediate impact and difference.
You will join a young, friendly team of 12 direct colleagues. Your team leader is Roel, who has himself been working at BAS Parts for more than 8 years now. In total, BAS Parts has 40 colleagues. Lines of communication are short and informal. On Fridays, for instance, we end the week with a drink together.

Job requirements
Your specifications
- You have completed an MBO or HBO education in the direction of Automotive, Technology, Commerce or a related course;
- You have an affinity with Automotive, trucks and truck parts or the interest to learn this;
- You speak English as well as Dutch. Spanish, French or German are an advantage;
- You have strong communication skills and are easy to talk to;
- You have a service-oriented attitude and always think along with the customer.
