At BAS World, we are engaged in global, fast-paced business every day. As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling trucks, trailers, machinery and vans mainly to Arabic customers. Besides that, you are the first point of contact for potential international customers. Customers can find us easily, therefore only a relatively small part of your job consist acquisition. In most cases, customers visit us physically the first time. You build a trusted business relationship, negotiate prices and conclude sales contracts. You take care of the customer by offering a total package consisting of maintenance, tires, diesel, transport and/or shipping. All with one goal: to make the customer happy with a total solution that meets their needs.

You plan your day as efficient as possible. You investigate opportunities, based on these results you know exactly where to invest your time. International trade of trucks, trailers, machinery and vans involves a lot of things, such as import restrictions, bank compliance, legislation and local market requirements. With your knowledge you make sure that every order goes smoothly. Your experienced sales colleagues are always there for you. In addition, you create the right expectations and are always available to your clients with an objective view.
You will join an international and driven team of approximately 30 colleagues. Your supervisor is an experienced salesman who has been with BAS for several years. He knows the business, the working methods and acts as a coach to support the team in their daily work. He is there to support you and to help you grow as a professional. Within the team there is a winner's mentality in which we are competitive but sociable. Every Monday we start reaching our targets again. The week ends with Friday afternoon drinks to celebrate the week.

Jouw specificaties

  • You have affinity with the Automotive branche, specifically with trucks, trailers, machinery or vans;

  • Besides Dutch and/or English you also have a good command of the Arabic language;

  • Your clients range from freelancers to directors of large multinationals. You adapt your communication effortlessly and are not afraid to negotiate with anyone;

  • You see every moment of contact with a prospect as a potential winning opportunity. You are sharp, proactive and see it as a challenge to convert every request into an order.
