Job description
At BAS World, we are engaged in fast-paced global trade every day. As a Russian-speaking Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling trucks and machinery, primarily to Russian-speaking customers. You are the first point of contact for potential international clients. Since customers can easily find us, cold acquisition is minimal. In most cases, first-time customers visit us in person. You build strong business relationships, negotiate prices, and finalize sales contracts. You also provide a full-service package, including maintenance, tires, fuel, transport, and/or shipping. Your main goal? Ensuring the customer receives a complete solution that perfectly matches their needs.
You manage your day efficiently, identifying opportunities and making strategic decisions about where to invest your time. International truck and machinery trade involves various complexities, such as import restrictions, bank compliance, legal regulations, and local market requirements. You make sure to master this knowledge and ensure smooth order processing. Your experienced sales colleagues are always available to support you. Additionally, you set clear expectations and always communicate transparently and honestly with your clients.
You will join an international and motivated team of around 30 colleagues. Your manager is a seasoned sales professional with years of experience at BAS. He knows the business inside out and serves as a coach, helping the team navigate daily operations. This means you’ll never have to figure things out alone and will have opportunities to develop every day. The team fosters a healthy competitive spirit while maintaining a friendly atmosphere. Every week, the scoreboard resets to zero, and we wrap up the week with a Friday afternoon drink to reflect and celebrate.

Job requirements
Your specifications
You hold a bachelor’s degree (HBO or equivalent);
In addition to Dutch and/or English, you speak Russian;
You can seamlessly adapt your communication style to clients ranging from independent entrepreneurs to CEOs of large multinational companies. You are confident in negotiations with anyone;
You see every interaction with a potential customer as a sales opportunity. You are sharp, proactive, and thrive on the challenge of turning every inquiry into a successful order.
