Your challenge

Within BAS World, you will work in the Sales department at our head office in Veghel. Your department consists of 30 Salesmen who all have the same goal: to sell as many trucks, machines, trailers and light commercial vehicles as possible with all possible accompanying services such as transport, shipping, servicing, tyres and much more!

Our total product range consists of 4 product groups. Every year, we purchase and sell around 10,000 items all over the world. For our trucks, trailers and machinery product groups, we are looking for an Account Manager Trucks and Machinery who has a good command of the French language.

As Account Manager, you will maintain daily contact with customers from different countries. You act as the first point of contact for international customers and are responsible for the sale of trucks and machines to French-speaking customers. This applies to customers who visit us at the head office in Veghel as well as to our customers who contact us by phone or e-mail.

Besides generating new business, you will also ensure a good relationship with already existing customers. You are able to provide them with high-quality advice. You act as a partner by thinking along with them about solutions and providing good service.

Your responsibilities

  • Receiving customers and prospects at our head office in Veghel;

  • Negotiating prices, issuing quotations and concluding sales contracts;

  • Answering and following up customer requests by phone, email and chat;

  • Resolve customer technical queries;

  • Initiating and maintaining commercial customer contacts / key accounts;

  • Screening potential customers in database and proactively approaching these customers;

  • Responsible for sales growth and upselling;

  • Following up on sales and marketing actions.

  • You have at least a completed MBO education and HBO working and thinking level;

  • You live in the Veghel region;

  • You speak French well;

  • You are proactive, spotting opportunities and seizing them with both hands.
