Depot Manager - Austria

Do you want to play a key role in the international world of commercial vehicles? BAS World is looking for an experienced and ambitious Depot Manager for our new branch in Austria in the Vienna region. In this role, you will be responsible for the operational management of the depot and ensure that all processes - from vehicle intake to delivery - run efficiently and smoothly. You will manage a team, monitor quality and work closely with head office to make BAS World's growth in Austria a success.

What will you do?

• Coordinate, oversee and optimize all depot activities, such as accepting, checking in, preparing and delivering vehicles;

• Leading the on-site team and ensuring efficient work distribution;

• Receiving customers professionally and supervising the delivery of vehicles;

• Organizing external repairs and coordinating with maintenance partners and export documentation;

• Ensure correct administration and processing of vehicle data;

• Maintain order and cleanliness throughout the depot;

• Add and manage photo and video material for a complete vehicle presentation;

• Collaborate with head office and other depots to optimize processes;

• Coordinate with the workshop and other departments to ensure the technical condition of vehicles.

Your specifications

• Minimum MBO+/HBO working and thinking level, preferably in logistics, automotive or a technical field;

• Demonstrable experience in a managerial role, preferably in the automotive, logistics or technical sector;

• Strong communication skills in German and English;

• Hands-on mentality and a solution-oriented attitude;

• Ability to manage a team and improve performance;

• Customer orientation and experience in working with external parties;

• Willingness to work in Austria for at least one year and be flexibly deployable;
