Medior Software Engineer (frontend)

BAS Parts & Tyres is part of BAS Group and specializes in the sale of parts and tyres for trucks and trailers. From our Veghel location, we support customers both domestically and internationally, with a growing range of products and expanding global ambitions.

The Parts & Tyres platform is rapidly evolving. We are undergoing a major modernization of our systems and website, gradually replacing legacy components and adding new functionalities. This includes better product selection, integrations with suppliers and logistics, and smarter support for sales and customers.

As a Medior Software Engineer (Frontend), you will work within a scrum team to further develop and optimize the Parts & Tyres platform. You will build new features, improve existing customer flows, and actively contribute to technical decisions and architecture. Together with your team, you will create scalable, maintainable solutions that have a direct impact on our operations and customer experience.

Your tasks

• Design and build new frontend features with your team;

• Develop modern, reusable components in Vue.js / Nuxt;

• Ensure a balance between performance, UX, and maintainability;

• Contribute to frontend architecture discussions;

• Collaborate with backend engineers, designers, and product owners;

• Actively participate in code reviews and team discussions;

• Stay up to date with new frontend tools, techniques, and best practices.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Software Engineering (or similar) with at least 3 years of experience with frontend;

• Strong knowledge of PHP, JavaScript, and Vue.js (Nuxt is a plus);

• Experience with HTML, CSS, modern tooling, REST APIs, and collaborating with backend services;

• Affinity with performance, accessibility, and UX; frontend testing is a plus;

• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and preferably Docker;

• Available at least 4 days per week in Veghel, with a positive, growth-oriented mindset.
