Job description

Within BAS World, you will work in the Sales department at our modern head office in Veghel. Your department consists of 30 sales people who all have the same goal: selling as many trucks, machines, trailers and light commercial vehicles as possible with all possible accompanying services such as transport, shipping, servicing, tyres and much more! Every year, we buy and sell around 10,000 objects all over the world. That's a lot, and your arrival will only make it more 😉.
As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for selling trucks and machines to mainly Portuguese customers. This applies both to customers who visit us at the head office in Veghel and to our customers who contact us by phone or e-mail.
Besides generating new business, you will also ensure a good relationship with existing customers. You answer customers' technical questions, negotiate prices, submit quotations and conclude sales contracts. You act as a partner by thinking about solutions and offering good personal service. In addition, you ensure turnover growth and upselling and follow up on related sales and marketing actions.

Job requirements
Your specifications
You have at least an MBO degree in Automotive Management, Commercial Economics, Account Management or a related course;
You speak Portuguese very well and also Dutch and/or English;
Speaking Spanish is a plus;
You live in the Veghel region or are willing to relocate to this region;
You present yourself as the perfect business card for our company, are service-oriented and have good communication skills;
You are proactive, spotting opportunities and seizing them with both hands.
