At BAS, we operate the world’s largest online platform for buying and selling trucks, trailers, and heavy machinery. From our headquarters in Veghel, we serve sellers and buyers around the globe—moving over 14,000 vehicles annually.

The BAS World platform is live and growing rapidly. To meet the demands of our ambitious roadmap, we’re expanding our development team. We’re building new features and systems that will help scale our marketplace, logistics network, and customer experience to the next level.

As a medior PHP Developer, you’ll work in a scrum development team on key modules such as vehicle check-in or global logistics. You write clean, maintainable code, contribute to design decisions, and collaborate with others to deliver smart, scalable solutions.

Your Tasks

• Collaborate with your team to design and build new features;

• Write clean and maintainable code using SOLID principles;

• Work with unit testing and frameworks like PHPUnit;

• Apply modern architecture patterns in backend development;

• Contribute to team discussions and code reviews;

• Stay up to date on tools and trends that can improve our platform.

Your Specifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar field;

• At least 3 years of professional experience with PHP;

• Solid knowledge of frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, or Zend;

• Experience working with REST APIs and MySQL (NoSQL is a plus);

• Understanding of frontend technologies—Vue.js or React is a bonus;

• Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and container tools like Docker;

• Willing to work at least 3 days a week onsite in Veghel;

• A positive mindset and drive to keep growing.
