As our Senior Platform Engineer, you help shape and run the AWS platform that enables our product teams to deliver fast, without compromising quality, reliability or security. You will work on everything from infrastructure and CI/CD to observability, test automation, cloud architecture decisions and modern DevOps practices.

You play a key role in building and operating a high-performing cloud platform. Together with the Platform team, you continuously improve our foundation in AWS: infrastructure, developer experience, reliability, monitoring, security and automation.

You work closely with development, security and operations stakeholders to ensure our systems run highly available, scalable, secure and fast, and you proactively improve our platform so teams can move full speed.

What you will do...

In this role, you will:

Cloud Infrastructure & Automation

  • Design, build and maintain scalable and secure platform components on AWS

  • Automate manual processes and remove operational friction

  • Improve delivery speed, consistency and reliability through smart automation

CI/CD & Developer Enablement

  • Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI

  • Enable teams with tooling, templates and golden paths (DBE mindset)

  • Reduce bottlenecks and increase engineering flow across product teams

Observability, Monitoring & Reliability

  • Implement and improve observability across services: metrics, logs, tracing

  • Improve monitoring, alerting and incident response readiness

  • Troubleshoot and solve issues in production and staging environments

Platform Leadership

  • Contribute to platform architecture decisions, tooling selection and best practices

  • Coach engineers and raise the engineering bar through knowledge sharing

  • Help build a modern, scalable platform roadmap aligned with our ambition

Job requirements

Your specifications

You are a senior engineer who combines deep technical expertise with a pragmatic delivery mindset. You think in systems, prevent incidents before they happen, and build solutions that scale.

You thrive in complex environments, love automation and quality, and take ownership end-to-end.

You bring

  • 5+ years of experience in Platform Engineering / DevOps / Cloud Engineering;

  • Strong AWS knowledge and hands-on engineering experience (AWS certification is a plus, track record matters most);

  • Solid experience with Terraform (or similar IaC tooling);

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI is a big plus);

  • Familiarity with Linux systems administration;

  • Experience with containers: Docker, ECS and/or EKS;

  • Test automation mindset: reliability + quality gates;

  • Strong understanding of observability and monitoring stacks;

  • Skilled in scripting (e.g. Bash, Python);

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

Extra plus points

  • Experience improving Developer Experience / DBE (paved roads, self-service);

  • Experience with SRE principles (SLIs/SLOs, error budgets, incident learning);

  • Security-first thinking (IAM, secrets, hardening, least privilege).
